About Chef Stephanie

Chef Stephanie is a Dallas native with a passion for healthy cooking. Her love of great food was spurred on by a mother with talent for baking and getting creative with garden harvests. Family meals usually entailed regular trips to the Dallas Farmers Market—a wide world of local meats, cheeses and produce to supplement the huge vegetable garden and fruit trees at her childhood home.

About Chef Stephanie

From her 20s, Stephanie became a well-known corporate artist and gallery owner. To welcome guests to openings, she began catering her own events.

When the opportunity arose for Stephanie to work as a fitness model, she researched healthy ways to stay lean. She used what she learned to develop parameters for healthy cooking and found that she had a talent for creating outstanding flavor combinations and "yin-yang" pairings that often involve surprising textural contrasts and daring flavors. In addition to her degrees from the Culinary Institute of America and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Stephanie holds four sommelier certificates from Florida International University. Chef Stephanie is an experienced wine educator for both on-premise wine servers and enjoys educating on the art and science of food and beverage pairing. Stephanie continues to teach private classes for cooking enthusiasts, in addition to her services as a personal chef and event caterer.
